What an inspirational video! Makes me excited for the snow to melt and have my playground open for the summer!! Hope to make it to your presentation tomorrow!
That was cool, makes me want to run. Too bad, I am on the slight taper for the beating I will take at Pocatello. Good luck on the presentation and hope to see you on the trails again.
As I was watching this, I thought to myself, "I'd can't wait until I'm 80+ years old and can look back at this video to remember all of the beautiful places that we've explored through running." Great job on the video - it truely embodies the spirit of why we do what we do.
Hey Matt, watched the video a few times since I got the link via the ultralist yesterday. Forwarded to friends. Really great stuff. A good video to help motivate before a workout or event. Thanks for all your hard work on this and making it available.
I hope we run into each other at some point. I'm out here in Carnation and grew up in Plymouth, NH. Done a couple Ironmans, some ultras and will be focusing all my energy on running for the next couple years. I'm sure we'll come across each other at some point!
I shamelessly stole for my blog, as well as dozens of people around. Matt, you did some awesome job on it. I watch it every day, many times a day. BTW, NUUN, PCT races? I sent you an email.
Matt, I have patiently waited to see this! Wouldn't work on a couple of computers! This video was worth the wait1 I just watched it 2x! The passion for running and hours you put into creating a real quality piece were obvious! Great to see some familar faces and places! Take care and thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you, Matt. I think I am in love with this video. Please promise that you will never take it down, or that you'll just send us all copies to keep for ourselves.
I'm an ultra distance athlete who incessantly seeks out backcountry adventure. I'm an UltraRunner by trade, but I'm a multisport athlete at heart. Ski mountaineering in the winter, trail running and cycling in the summer. After 10 years in Seattle I moved to Salt Lake City because the Wasatch Mtns are simply amazing. I'm from New Hampshire originally, where I learned to "Live Free or Die". In December of 2005 I decided my desk job at Microsoft was in fact death... so i quit. I've been gettin' after it in the backcountry full time ever since. I coach, train and write the Ask the Coach column in TrailRunner Magazine

That is a great video Matt. The timing of the clips with the song lyrics is really cool too. Obviously a lot of thought went into its production!
